Reflection:
For this paper, I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to write about. So when I started to figure out what institution I wanted to focus on I thought back to a conversation I had with someone about how school restricts us. Then I picked the readings that would go well with this idea that “Schools affect how we see our group identities which leads to how we express and see ourselves”. After my meeting with Professor McCarthy, I had more of an idea on how to express and write my argument. I used the arguments and stories from the two writings that I chose to support and disagree with my argument.
