- Participated in 130-hour internship with fully-functional certified wildlife clinic dedicated to veterinary care and treatment of wild animals a variety of species including opossum, racoons, skunks, foxes, turtles, songbirds, birds of prey, geese, squirrels and other small mammals.
- Demonstrated effective animal husbandry skills helping with preparing food and feeding and watering duties, cleaning animal enclosures, and hand-feeding infant birds.
- Properly handled wildlife to prevent habituation; learned techniques in limiting interaction with species in order to prohibit dependence on humans and for rehabilitation into natural habitats.

- Assisted veterinarians in mobile vet clinic, travelling to Vetco stores to administer vaccines, run blood tests and helping with other pet care clinical needs.
- Promoted from Clinic Advisor position based on skills and aptitudes.
- Helped with animal handling to support the veterinarian in vaccinating animals. Learned about administrating various vaccines including rabies, distemper (cats and dogs), leptospirosis, Lyme, FeLV, canine influenza, Bordetella, and dewormer. Drew vaccines from bottles and handed to veterinarian to administer.
